Keep Calm SundaysSundays are a great day to do something different – something you don’t usually do every other day of the week. Many people choose to spend an hour or so of their Sundays coming and joining the community at Christ Church, Chester to meet together, worship God or to eat cake between our services!

We often have joint 10am service around Christmas, Easter and during the quieter month of August. However, most Sundays we have the following 2 services:

9:30 Reflective Service

We begin Sunday with a reflective service, in a traditional style. The music is typically led from our organ. We share communion together every Sunday except the 3rd Sunday of the month where we have ‘morning prayer’ (a service without communion).

People arrive at 11am to join those who have been to the 9:30 service for tea and coffee. The service begins a few minutes after 11am, or whenever people have had enough to eat and drink! The music is typically led by a worship team, and during term time we have groups for children to join as well. We share communion together on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Bring and Share LunchDann good cakes

On the 1st Sunday of the month, after the 11am service, we have a ‘bring and share’ lunch. Feel free to bring along your favourite cold dish (savoury or sweet) and come join us!
