Christ church is a link church with the dioceses of Aru and Boga in the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of the Chester diocese link. The aim of the link is to be one church in different places, developing a world- wide understanding of the kingdom of God by: praying for one another regularly, finding ways of doing things together and by learning from one another through the exchange of information and visits, sharing problems, joy’s and opportunities and offering mutual support.

We have just reimageturned from a link trip to Congo with Bishops High School Chester aiming to build a link between the school and a secondary school in Aru Congo. The trip was a great success and will be the beginning of an annual trip of students and teachers from the school helping with teacher training , computer skills and English teaching to the befit of both schools.
