• We continue to pray for Andrew and Susanne’s house situation – that the proceedings of finding a suitable house would become a priority of those who are involved, and that God‘s hand guide them and give them wisdom.
  • We pray for our church activities, that God’s hand be upon us and help us to be effective witnesses to His love.
  • We ask His hand be on those who we had chance to chat with on the fun day, that in some way people will have been challenged regarding their future and life choices. We pray for the guy who talked for quite some time at the side of the bbq, saying he may come to a service sometime. May the Holy Spirit fall upon all those who came along, and cause them to take a step in His direction.
  • Glyn is leading a group of un-churched people. We pray this will lead to discipleship. That God would anoint Glyn in this work.
  • Blessings for all our small group leaders. May our groups continue to grow and enjoy fellowship and study.
  • Pray for our community for Pam, Lin and Shirley in particular. Also for us to open our doors to those in need. May God help us to love with His heart and be prepared to go the extra mile for those He leads us beside. To support Anina in her work and be regular prayer warriors for all those in our church who are on the front line.
  • Lucy has been gaining more strength each week, but is still badly effected by the virus she suffered from over the winter months. We pray for God’s healing hand to continue to work on her. She is hoping to find a new job, so we lift this to the Lord as He knows her needs and has a wonderful plan for her.
  • We place Jonathan Franks in our prayers as he prepares for his time in Carlisle doing 3 months DTS (Discipleship Training School) with YWAM in his gap year. He will then spend 10 weeks in South Africa helping with projects which will enhance the lives of the poor in the area they are working. Jonathan needs prayer for patience & trust in God – his preparations and fund raising (he needs £3000). Also for strength as he steps out of his comfort zone and that he is receptive to God’s calling.
  • Please pray for guidance, there are many positions which need help in the church and community work where we could fit in. Perhaps we are being called to help with the playgroup, or getting together with those re-developing the Mission House, or outreach work. Pray He would reveal where you can get involved.
  • We give God the glory for such a brilliant opportunity to witness to the community last weekend! The weather was fabulous and all enjoyed the fun. Blessings and thanks to Emily for all her hard work, to all who helped and to those who donated to the day. Praise indeed!
